6 Meridian Partner, Pam Smith, was honored to be a judge at the State Kansas DECA Conference this past week. The students were judged on a financial plan presentation addressing retirement planning and the importance of saving early. In partnership with the Wichita Collegiate School Mentor program, the 6 Meridian office enjoyed hosting a student this morning as he shadowed, CIO, Andrew Mies. The mentor program is a great opportunity for students to experience a real-world snapshot of their desired field with industry experts.

The class passed with flying colors! Partner, Sarah Hampton, lead a 5-week Junior Achievement of Kansas entrepreneurship program for a local 4th grade class. They worked together in small groups to create, launch and report on their own businesses. Congrats to the class on their accomplishment!
