Jordan presented “Financial Empowerment: Building a Plan that Supports Your Life and Work,” a session designed to help attendees gain clarity around their finances, define meaningful goals, and build a plan that supports both their personal and professional lives. Drawing from her decade of experience working with individuals and families, Jordan shared practical guidance on budgeting, retirement planning, navigating life transitions, and becoming an active participant in financial decisions.
Helping women build confidence through financial planning
One of the themes of Jordan’s presentation was that financial empowerment doesn’t begin with having all the answers. It begins with understanding where you are today and taking intentional steps toward where you want to go. Participants explored ways to better understand their cash flow, maximize workplace benefits, prepare for unexpected life events, and align financial decisions with their long-term priorities.
For Jordan, helping women feel more confident and informed about their financial futures is more than a presentation topic. It’s a passion that influences her work every day. She has a gift for simplifying financial complexity and turning numbers into practical strategies that help people make informed decisions, move through life’s transitions with greater confidence, and stay focused on what matters most.

The Women in Public Service Conference brought together professionals, nonprofit leaders, and public servants for a day of learning, connection, and leadership development. The conference theme, “Engaging & Empowering Others,” aligned closely with Jordan’s belief that financial knowledge can help individuals feel more equipped to achieve their goals.
