Jordan Swisher, CPA, CFP®

Partner Wealth Advisor

For Jordan Swisher, it wasn’t the numbers that drew her into accounting and finance--it was what the numbers meant to real people.

“In auditing, one of my favorite parts of the job was interviewing employees of the businesses we served. I loved the analysis, but I truly enjoyed building relationships. It was that aspect of the industry that let me to financial planning. In wealth management, you can make a tremendous impact on someone’s life.”

Jordan dual majored in accounting and finance at Kansas State University, and proceeded to earn her CPA after graduation. She worked at a national accounting firm for several years, then worked as a financial planner for a wealth management firm in Kansas City where she serviced a book of over $300 million in assets. When Jordan decided to return to her hometown, it was personal connections that helped her make her next move.

“6 Meridian is an integral part of Wichita. They are committed to lifting up the community not only through servicing individuals, but contributing their time and resources to charitable causes throughout the city. They also have a team centered corporate culture. So often in the financial world, it’s very individualistic, but that’s not the case here. To work with 6 Meridian is to work with every individual in the building.”

Jordan looks forward to building new relationships with clients at 6 Meridian, and helping them feel empowered not only by their financial portfolio, but also through an intentional, holistic financial plan. When Jordan isn’t making a positive impact on her client’s lives, she’s making one on her own, enjoying time with her young children and husband, Austin (who she still loves despite his KU alumnus status), reading as many books as she can get her hands on, and learning to play golf.

Jordan’s dedication to helping others is a legacy she’s proud to carry on, and we’re honored to have her as part of our 6 Meridian family.
