The team ‘virtually’ took home the Private Asset Management 2021 award for Women in Wealth Advocate of the Year- Firm Level. An award presented to a firm that best promotes diversity within the organization as well as creating a unique approach to serving women clientele and their families.
Our approach to gender diversity shines through internally with females in multiple leadership roles across the firm. 6 Meridian is a prime example of a firm that prioritizes the advocacy of women in wealth through their approach to recruitment, retention, training and the continued opportunities for growth made available to all. A boutique firm, 6 Meridian has a strong female leadership team: 3 of the 6 partners at 6 Meridian are women; 5 out of the 10 advisors are women; the CMO is a woman; and the CEO as well.
We also strive to further educate and work closely to deepen relationships with our female clientele through events, online resources and meaningful conversations so we can do the best work possible for them and their families.
Relationships are very important to the firm, and 6 Meridian’s client-centric service model focuses on proactive communication, responsiveness, and accountability, developing meaningful relationships with clients and their families, and collaborating with other outside advisors, such as CPAs and attorneys, to build fully coordinated strategies to simplify their clients’ financial goals.
CEO Margaret Dechant comments, “90% of women will be in charge of their own finances at some point and we want to make sure they’re not only familiar with us as their trusted financial professional, but we want to deepen the relationship, personalize the advising, and understand their goals. When our female clients are more comfortable with us, and when we better understand their hopes, dreams and fears, they get more honest with their questions and we can do the best work possible.”
Congratulations to a team that continues to uphold our commitment to diversity and exceptional service to our clients.
