If there’s one thing Katy Mulqueen doesn’t mind, it’s working hard on behalf of others. She learned it from her mom. It’s why at 6 Meridian you’ll find Katy doing any task that makes life easier for her clients. “I’m a people person. I like to listen to others and find out what people mean, what their goals are and figure out what they need. I’m happy to do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work to make financial decisions easier for them. I see how it takes the stress off our clients and comforts them to have someone to help sort it all out.”
A Kansas State grad, Katy works alongside her wealth advisor peers to find the best way to serve clients, helping them to understand their current financial situation and identify the goals they have for their future. In Katy’s experience, working as a team allows for everyone’s strengths to be used on behalf of the client and offers plenty of opportunities to learn from others.

The way they put client service and satisfaction first speaks volumes to me because that is how I live.” Beyond helping people secure their financial futures, Katy spends her time enjoying friends and family, reading fiction, running and hiking. Even as a native Kansan, Katy has conquered her share of 14,000-foot mountains, her current count standing at 12.
