If Calvin Pearson’s first love is golf, his second is problem solving and simplifying complex situations.
Originally from Durban, South Africa, Calvin came to Wichita on a golf scholarship for WSU. After several years of playing professional golf, he transitioned into the financial industry where he can employ his penchant for navigating multifaceted financial situations and educating others along the way.
“I enjoy taking a deep dive into people's complex situations. At my previous financial firm, I found a lot of joy in helping others make sense of their complex lives and enjoyed the collaborative process with clients. Finding investment solutions to minimize risk and add success to their financial life is very rewarding for me.”
After getting to know 6 Meridian co-founder, Tom Kirk, and seeing how he interacted with his clients on a relationship level, Calvin knew 6 Meridian was where he wanted to end up. He was inspired by seeing the impact a well-managed financial plan can make. With his previous experience in financial planning, investment product research and target market business development, Calvin brings to the table a breadth of knowledge to both his team members and clients.
“At 6 Meridian, each person here has a role, and everyone really excels at theirs. My goal is to be an encourager for clients, seeing them achieve the things they desire because of our relationship and the planning that we conduct.”
In addition to adding value to clients lives as a 6 Meridian wealth advisor, Calvin enjoys spending time on the golf course, reading to satiate his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and keeping up with his extraordinarily busy young son, Henry, and lovely wife, Erica.
