Joshua Manahan chose a career in financial planning with a genuine desire to serve others. His interest in the profession grew from seeing firsthand how financial stress can affect a family, shaping his belief that thoughtful planning can make a meaningful difference. As a paraplanner, Joshua supports both clients and advisors by helping prepare for meetings, conducting research, and putting his experience with Compass, 6 Meridian’s financial planning tool, to work.
“I believe strong relationships start with honesty, listening first and meeting people where they are. My goal is to help clients feel heard and involved in the planning process while making complex financial information easier to understand and connect to their goals.”
Joshua earned a bachelor's degree with a focus on personal financial planning and a minor in psychology from Emporia State University. During his time at ESU, Joshua served as student body vice president and received the Newberg Outstanding Senior award for academic success and campus leadership. Outside the office, he cheers on the Kansas City Royals, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Stars. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Jessica, their four dogs, and his parents and siblings.
