Detective Roddy Winder is a 20+ year veteran of the Wichita Police Department. He has worked as a patrol officer, community policing, and has been assigned to the financial crimes unit for the past five years.
The financial crimes unit receives more than 12,000 cases per year, including forgery, embezzlement, identity theft, computer crimes, confidence games, and mistreatment of dependent adults. Detective Winder regularly provides training to local financial institutions and organizations regarding recognizing crime trends to avoid falling victim to fraud.
