Our 6 Meridian paraplanner team members recently attended the FPA of Kansas Annual Summer Social. This local chapter of the Financial Planning Association provides Certified Financial Planner® professionals with support, education, advocacy, and networking.

Jocelyn Childs, Jacob Younkman, Olivia Pauly
Olivia Pauly, CFP®, serves on the local FPA chapter’s board as director of membership. When asked about her involvement in the organization, she shared:
Service on the FPA of Kansas board and attending events has provided valuable networking, leadership opportunities, and continued education. For the industry, FPA is a driving force for education, advocacy, and ethical standards – all of which are essential to the credibility and evolution of financial planning.
Jocelyn Childs, CFP®, has long valued educational opportunities available within the field, and she shared these sentiments about her interest in participating in FPA of Kansas:
I recognize the value in these organizations and events to build my network and create a support system for my own career and our industry. I appreciate that my role at 6 Meridian allows me the opportunity to be involved in FPA, and I look forward to continuing to gain new insights.
When we founded 6 Meridian in 2016, in addition to providing meaningful value to our clients each day, we set out to create an environment where our people are supported and encouraged. We applaud Olivia, Jocelyn, and Jacob for embracing opportunities to learn and grow, and we look forward to the many contributions they will make to 6 Meridian through their efforts.
