Wealth advisor Rachel Bruce recently shared her story of returning home to Kansas with Choose Wichita. Rachel, a native of Conway Springs, took a job in Nashville after graduating from Kansas State University. While the opportunity offered valuable experiences, she felt a pull back to her home state.
“I missed the wide-open endless miles of crop fields, the way the sun peaks through the horizon first thing in the morning and sunsets weren’t nearly as visible in the city lights of Nashville. It may sound really simple, but that’s what I missed – the simple life of Kansas.”

Rachel bid farewell to the city lights of Nashville and returned home to Kansas, which was the beginning of new adventures. Since returning to the Sunflower State, she met her husband, began her career at 6 Meridian, and welcomed a beautiful daughter.
