Two young professionals looking to return to Wichita land at same wealth advisory firm
Wichita, KS, February 11th – 6 Meridian LLC, a SEC registered investment advisory firm, welcomes two new financial advisors to their team. Rachel Becker and Markus Phox join the Wealth Management group as Associate Advisors. “One of the commitments to our clients is longevity and succession planning of our business. Recruiting and training top young talent to serve our clients now and in the future is key to delivering on this commitment.” said Margaret Dechant, 6 Meridian CEO.
Becker and Phox will work directly with the partners of the firm assisting in portfolio analysis, financial planning research and client follow-up. Along with finalizing industry licensing accreditation, both are currently completing a rigorous yearlong training and mentoring course within the firm.
Becker received her Bachelors of Science majoring in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. Her career includes working as a lead business specialist for an insurance company in Nashville, TN. “Growing up in the Wichita area, I’ve always known what an incredible community spirit Wichita offered and was eager to return. The dedication to being client centric really attracted me to 6 Meridian and I look forward to helping clients achieve their financial goals with this firm.” said Becker.
Phox received his Bachelors of Science in Economics from Princeton University. After graduation he worked in sales for a securities trading platform in New York City. Also a native Wichitan, Phox’s desire to return to the area was bolstered by family connections and opportunities for young professionals. “Some might believe that a larger city offers more opportunities for young professionals. That may be the case, but I found that although the opportunities were plentiful, the mentoring and commitment to helping me build my career was very limited. After meeting the team at 6 Meridian I instantly knew that this would be the place where I would find the dedication to my career benefiting not only me but the whole client experience.” added Phox.
