6 Meridian to launch private investment partnership in mid-2018
Wichita, KS, February 1, 2018- 6 Meridian LLC, a SEC registered investment advisory firm, welcomes their 4th addition to the team since launching in September 2016. Josh Buffolino joins the investment management group as Vice President of Investment Management. For the past three years, Buffolino managed municipal bond strategies and external fixed income manager selection for a large family office, 1888 Management, LLC. “Josh’s experience in manager research will substantially accelerate our plans for both our private investment partnership and our new municipal bond strategy to be launched in 2018.” said Andrew Mies, 6 Meridian Chief Investment Officer.
Buffolino will work directly for CIO, Andrew Mies, assisting in the management and set-up of the team’s new private investment partnership, conducting due diligence on investment managers and directing municipal bond investing. Buffolino received his Bachelors of Science majoring in Finance from Wake Forest University. His career includes 13 years with Koch Industries and 1888 Management, LLC, as an investment analyst, portfolio manager and municipal bond and derivatives trader.
